We adopted Dixie through Great Pyrenees Rescue in 2018. We had one Pyrenees mix, Stella, who was onto the later years and we wanted another Pyrenees mix who was around 2 that could keep Stella younger and learn from her. Dixie came from an owner who “didn’t know what to do with her”. She’s been with us 3 years (Stella is gone) and brings so much joy to our life. That calm, steady Pyr vibe is perfect for us. We know to enjoy her. We love our little Dixie!
