Pet's Story or Bio
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Luna was sent to the Humane Rescue Alliance in Washington, DC at six weeks old, where she was adopted right away. As a puppy, people thought this cutie pie was either a Lab or a Jack Russel mix, but it turns out everyone was wrong. A DNA test showed that she is 50% American Staffordshire Terrier, and the other half is a mix of Swiss Shepherd, Chow Chow, Pug, and Coonhound. Her owners think that she has the best features of all those breeds. Everyone she meets comments on her beautiful ears, which are covered with caramel-colored spots. She's a great swimmer who loves to snuggle, run, and play with the neighborhood kids. Brave, curious, and friendly, she has brought cheer to her human owners during the pandemic shutdown.
