Pet's Story or Bio
Hello, I’m Oscar, but my “owners” (they’re actually my subjects) commonly refer to me as “Sir” or “Boss.” I was born a stray in Etobicoke in 2008 and I was adopted from the Etobicoke Humane Society 2 years ago by my current humans.

I’m a big, fluffy man, so I really like getting brushed all the time. But don’t touch my belly! Unless I specifically ask for it, the belly is off limits... makes me grumpy. I’m usually real sweet though, and I like cuddles.

I know I’m a bit hefty, but we’re working on it, so please don’t judge me. I had a previous owner for a little bit so when I got here these new employees had their work cut out for them. Last year, however, I lost 2 pounds. I love sitting around though, so my owners got me a felt, rainbow ribbon on a stick that I love chasing. I never tire of it.

My favourite food is chicken, or turkey. I like other flavours of food, but I’m not really into fish. I also really like drinking from my water fountain. I’m afraid of the vacuum cleaner and dogs, cats, birds, fish... a lot of stuff, actually. You might say I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat, but I like to meet new people.
