On August 13, 2022, my family and I welcomed Cece into our home and hearts as a foster dog. Twelve days later we returned her to the Humane Society for Inland Mendocino County to be spayed. We officially adopted Cece on August 25, 2022. It wasn't until a few days later, while I was looking at her History record, that I discovered that she was born on my dad's birthday. I truly believe she was heaven sent, thus I changed her name to Mitzi Mae. Her new name suits her well ❤️ . She's now 11 days post surgery, and her puppy personality is coming back strong! Mitzi has forever stolen our hearts 🥰. She's brought joy, love, and laughter back into our home. We're looking forward to spending many years with our new little girl.
